PBAT is an interactive software package that provides tools for the design and analysis of family-based association studies. It was developed at Harvard University by Dr. Christoph Lange http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/faculty/ChristophLange.html.

Currently, HelixTree offers an optional software module based on PBAT, under a license from Harvard University. This software module is already a part of the HelixTree package. No installation of any product other than HelixTree is necessary to use the HelixTree PBAT capabilities.
