3.5 Golden Helix DSF File

The Dataset Storage Format (DSF) is designed to allow for the sharing and collaboration of datasets between SVS users. The DSF format is also open to third-parties to develop the ability to create DSF files from their own products or data sources and thus more easily integrate with SVS. As you import a DSF file, those with attached marker map data will prompt you to save the marker map to the genetic marker maps folder. If the marker map is saved, it is available for use in all projects. If it is not saved to the folder, the marker map is only available for the current project.
