Getting new NGS software up and running shouldn’t feel overwhelming, and with Golden Helix, it doesn’t have to be. Our Field Application Scientist (FAS) onboarding program is designed to help labs get their tertiary analysis started quickly, confidently, and the right way with VarSeq and VSWarehouse.
From day one, onboarding is hands-on, interactive, and tailored to your workflows. You’ll work directly with a dedicated FAS through live video sessions, where we walk through installation, setup, and real-world use cases. No canned demos; these are practical training sessions focused on how your lab actually processes NGS data for tests ranging from somatic gene panels to whole genome trios.
Beyond live sessions, you’ll have access to comprehensive training materials through our proprietary training website, so you can revisit topics anytime and bring new team members up to speed. And when questions come up (because they always do), our FAS support inbox is run by real humans ready to help without ticket black holes or generic replies!
For labs operating their NGS analysis in regulated environments, onboarding can also include Dx Mode training and user certification. This enables VarSeq to be used as a CE-marked medical device in the EU. Our FAS team will guide you through deployment, validation, and certification, making compliance feel manageable instead of intimidating.
It’s no surprise that many of our customers say FAS support is one of the main reasons they return to Golden Helix year after year. And our support doesn’t stop once your workflows are validated and running smoothly. Even after your NGS tests are fully operational, the FAS team remains part of your extended lab team. We’re always happy to jump on a call to walk through new VarSeq releases, highlight relevant new features, or talk through how updates might fit into your existing pipelines. As VarSeq evolves, we’re here to help you evolve with it, confidently and without disruption.
While great software matters, great support makes it stick! For more information on working with our FAS Team, feel free to reach out to [email protected].
