Account Manager
Golden Helix is hiring a FT Account Manager. The Account Manager is responsible for meeting or exceeding established monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals by selling GHI products and services to academic, governmental, and commercial customers and successfully completing activities that directly result in generating sales revenue.
The day-to-day tasks of the Account Manager are as follows:
- Generate and maximize sales revenue via out-bound calls, product demonstrations and post-sale training presentations (via the internet and in person), sales travel, conference attendance, and other sales activities.
- Process in-bound assigned leads and opportunities in a timely fashion, maintaining optimal utilization rates.
- Develop and maintain relationships with our existing customers to ensure their annual renewals; attain a minimum 70% renewal rate.
- Maximize software usage and uncover upsell opportunities with current customers via regularly scheduled Customer Contacts.
- Prospect the database to expand existing customer relationships and uncover referrals to generate new sales opportunities.
- Generate accurate sales reports and forecasts for weekly review with the Sales Director.
- Learn and adhere to GHI’s documented sales processes utilizing complex selling techniques.
- Utilize and suggest improvements to internal sales systems to maximize personal effectiveness and utilization.
- Work with the Sales and Marketing Team to prioritize and schedule sales and conference trips.
- Provide technical knowledge to customers.
Qualifications:
- A BS in Science, Business, or related discipline.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish and develop relationships through phone and email communications.
- 3-5+ years B2B strategic selling experience.
- The ability to convey complex technical solutions to customers.
- Strong competencies in intellect (the ability to learn, understand, and innovate), personal skills (integrity, candor, excellence), and interpersonal skills (oral and written communication, customer service).
- The ability to self-motivate and follow-through on details.
- Multi-project management skills.
- Occasional out-of-town, overnight travel is required.
This position is located in Bozeman, MT. Relocation negotiable for the right candidate. Occasional overnight travel is expected.

Sales Development Representative
Golden Helix is hiring 2 PT (20-hrs/week) Sales Development Representatives (SDR).
The SDR will be responsible for proactive outbound prospecting and lead management to qualify leads and set appointments for the Account Managers. The SDR will handle first contact with new clients and build relationships after marketing events through follow-up calling. The goal of a Sales Development Representative is to take a lead from a marketing campaign, qualify the lead through opportunity discovery, set an appointment with an Account Manager, and follow through as needed.
The day-to-day tasks of the SDR are as follows:
- Act as a layer between marketing and sales by handle all first contact with new clients and build relationships by phone call follow-up on marketing activity.
- Make outbound phone calls (warm- and cold-calls) to incoming leads generated from the website and marketing campaigns to qualify those leads and set appointments with qualified prospects.
- Work closely with marketing to discover opportunities from other leads, and set appointments from those leads.
- Work closely with Account Managers to expand relationships with existing customers.
- As experience grows, prospect into target accounts to identify new opportunities for Account Managers.
- Use strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments.
- Use a consistent sales approach and techniques to qualify opportunities for the Golden Helix software suite.
- Log, track and maintain customer contact and contact records in the CRM system.
Qualified applications will have the following:
- Phone selling and cold-calling experience required, referably B2B strategic selling of technical products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor. Must be able to communicate and interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals.
- Strong PC skills required, including use of standard MS Office applications; knowledge of MSCRM a plus.
- Ability to manage time effectively, work independently and be self-motivated.
