Optimus RP, the core software application in Golden Helix’s Predictive Analytics family, takes tree-based modeling to a new level with patented algorithms that make it the fastest, most powerful and most predictive software package available.

Optimus RP’s predictive power stems from its use of an unparalleled version of recursive partitioning known as Formal Inference-based Recursive Modeling or FIRM. Golden Helix has further enhanced FIRM (FIRMPlus) in Optimus RP by employing an extremely efficient dynamic program designed to find the optimal multi-way segments or splits for each variable in a data set. You are never forced to artificially create bins, nor are you ever limited by the deficiencies of simple binary splits. You also have complete freedom in the data you can analyze as Optimus RP supports binary, continuous, integer and categorical variables for both dependent and independent variables.

To improve predictions even further, Optimus RP includes forests of random trees as well as true multivariate analysis providing the ability to analyze multiple outcomes simultaneously.
