If you do not wish to run the segmenting algorithm on your log2 ratio data, you can choose to simply import the data into a new spreadsheet. This option might be used if you wanted to perform associations on the log2 ratios for each marker, or if you wanted to do some data quality assurance.

Only the chromosomes selected by the Chromosome Selector will be imported. It is important to note that the log2 ratio data requires a lot of memory to import into HelixTree and it usually a good idea to import a single chromosome at a time for studies more than a couple hundred samples.

The Exclude Markers tab works in the same way as the Copy Number Segmentation window. It removes the specified markers from the imported set of markers.
