7.8 The Font Menu - Resizing and Formatting Tree View
This is what the two submenus of the Font menu do
| Menu Choice | Does This |

| Size->(point size) | Use the submenu to change the point size used to create nodes. If you have many nodes this would allow you to reduce their size. |
| Family->(font family name) | Pick a font name. It will list only the mono-spaced font families such as Courier New. The actual fonts you will see on your computer will vary based on your operating system. |
7.8.1 Font->Size

The menu choices of Font->Size open a font size menu. An arrow points to the size you are currently using for that tree view. A new tree view begins at the default size, which for Windows is 9 point. If you pick a small sized font the entire tree shrinks. Changing the font family will again change the look of the tree.You can experiment to pick a size that allows you maximum use of your monitor. This setting also affects how trees are sent to the printer. While a 7 point font may not be readable on your monitor, it may show up well on a high resolution printer.
7.8.2 Font->Family

The tree view requires a mono-spaced or non-proportional font to properly format the values you see in nodes, and thus only mono-spaced font families are listed. Those actually listed on your computer may be different from those listed in the above illustration, since available font families vary based on your operating system. Windows, by default, has one mono-spaced font called Courier New. An arrow will point to the font family that the tree view is currently using. A new tree view uses the default family, which also depends on the operating system you are using.
